How do I tell whether I have RNS510?

RNS510 is VW's premium navigation system from 2008-2015. It has a 6.5" touchscreen with a CD/DVD slot above it. Send a photo of the head unit or your VIN - we confirm free of charge.

Do I keep the factory navigation?

Yes. The factory RNS510 functions are untouched. CarPlay is an additional mode - switch between it and the factory interface with a single tap.

Is it suitable for the RCD510, or only the RNS510?

The decoder is optimised for the RNS510. The RCD510 (smaller screen, no navigation) needs a different module - contact us before ordering.
