What is the difference between NBT 4-pin and 6-pin?
The 4-pin uses an analogue LVDS signal, the 6-pin a digital one, and the connectors physically differ in pin count. Choosing the wrong one will not damage the system, but the decoder will not work. Check the connector behind your screen, or send us your VIN.
Do I keep iDrive control?
Yes. The decoder integrates fully with the iDrive controller - you navigate CarPlay with the rotary dial and the touchpad.
Does it work with BMW Professional Navigation?
Yes. The factory Professional Navigation stays available, and CarPlay adds Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps alongside it.
