Every module here sits between the factory head unit and the screen. It adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the system the car already has, without replacing the display and without cutting into the loom.

How the module is chosen

The module is determined by the infotainment platform, not by the model or the year. The same chassis is often sold with two different systems, and two different chassis frequently share one. A BMW F30 from 2013 can be CIC or NBT; an Audi A6 C7 from the same year can be MMI 3G or RMC.

What the module changes

Factory navigation, radio, DAB, Bluetooth telephony, reversing camera, parking sensors, steering wheel controls and the premium audio system all keep working exactly as before. CarPlay appears as an additional source you switch to and back from.

Nothing is coded and nothing is soldered. Every module can be removed without trace, which is why fitting one does not affect the manufacturer's warranty.
