How do I tell whether I have a Becker system?
Becker MAP PILOT is normally found in a Mercedes with Audio 20 (no built-in navigation) to which an external Becker navigation module has been added. Look for the Becker logo on screen or in the menu.
How does it differ from NTG 4.5 COMAND?
COMAND is the full infotainment system with built-in navigation. Becker is an add-on navigation module for Audio 20. The two need different decoders - this one is specifically for the Becker version.
Can I replace Becker navigation with Waze?
Yes. CarPlay gives you Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps - many customers switch to CarPlay navigation entirely.
