My BMW already has CarPlay - why would I need a decoder?
Some EVO-equipped BMWs have factory CarPlay, but it requires an annual subscription. Our decoder gives you wireless CarPlay permanently, with no subscription fees.
Does it work with iDrive 5 and iDrive 6?
Yes. The decoder works with EVO systems running either the iDrive 5 (ID5) or iDrive 6 (ID6) interface.
Is touchscreen control supported in CarPlay?
Yes. If your BMW has a touchscreen you can control CarPlay directly on it, as well as through the iDrive controller.
